I was an integral part of the UX/UI team and supervised the GUI development. We developed a monitoring and management dashboard that allows computer storage administrators to rapidly set alerts and orchestrate complex data though intuitive visualizations. I was collaborating directly with the UX architect on the GUI parameters and visual treatments for a more intuitive experience.

Coraid provided computer storage solutions for cloud service providers and enterprises that are experiencing rapid, unpredictable data growth. Coraid design team created the UX and UI guidelines to allow storage administrators to rapidly set alerts and orchestrate complexity through an extremely intuitive dashboard. I was in charge to take the UX guidelines to life refining visual details, setting style guidelines and selecting color palettes.

The VP of Engineering, Paul Emery and I discussing the UI framework.
The datastore view is the same as the virtual pool view except data on the virtual pools faded out with an opacity shift. Here the the live data and snapshots are being broken down in the datastore partition. Tapping or clicking the center module will deselect the datastore and bring the user back to the virtual pool level. Zooming out will pull the user back to the complete multi pool view. The system can scale back the multi pool view in the beginning or pull back to a higher level controller view.
